The town of Fort Garland is located in the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado. This gorgeous mountain town is close to hiking, mountain biking, ATV, Jeep trails, and snowmobile trails, and is only two hours from Wolf Creek Ski Area. Located only 30 minutes from the Great Sand Dunes National Park, this area of Southern Colorado gets roughly 315 days of sunshine per year and is PERFECT for the outdoor enthusiast. It's crazy to think about, but Fort Garland is at the same latitude as Northern Africa along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. I'm SERIOUS.
