Road 32 C continues up Old Woman's Creek and over Blue Mountain into La Garita Creek.  Road A32 veers East and takes you to the Natural Arch.  Jeeps, horses, side by sides, and ATVs are welcome, but pretty rare.  You can absolutely ride out from your property into hundreds of miles of Jeep and ATV trails from your property, but the area is relatively unknown, and rarely used by anyone but your immediate neighbors.

Please note: the cabin is dirty, and very, very rough.  Although everything worked when last used, the cabin has been vacant for roughly 10 years.  It should be assumed that the solar, plumbing, electrical, and well pump will need to be replaced/updated.  A respirator is highly recommended when entering the cabin, as deer mice and pack rats actively occupy the home.  Hauntavirus is a very real threat and should be taken seriously.  Please be prepared when scheduling a visit.  Closed toe shoes are highly recommended as well.

This off-grid cabin is located Northwest of Del Norte, Colorado on the western end of the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado.  Only 40 miles or so from the New Mexico Border, Del Norte is roughly three hours from Santa Fe and four hours from Denver.  You're only an hour drive from the Great Sand Dunes National Park and 55 minutes from the Sand Dunes Recreation Hot Springs Swimming Pool.  

Mt. Blanca the huge mountain at the eastern end of the valley is the 4th tallest mountain in Colorado.  Also on this massif, you'll find Ellingwood Point and Little Bear Peak, also over 14,000 feet tall.  Are you a fan of extreme, off-road, 4x4 trails?  The road up Mt. Blanca to Como Lake is one of the most extreme in the state of Colorado as ranked by OnX Maps.  Not for the faint of heart!
